  • Laboratory drainage in chemical-resistant pipework with a dilution pit
  • Medical-grade vinyl flooring with coved skirting
  • Dedicated electrical circuits, UPS room and earthing to specification
  • HVAC and extract for the laboratory and the darkroom
  • Reception joinery, seating bays and signage

What was difficult
The equipment supplier changed the X-ray unit model after the shielding drawings were issued, which moved a wall by 400 mm and changed a lead thickness. Caught at the pre-installation check because we insisted on one; two weeks lost instead of the whole room.
