Safety Officer — Full time — Malikarjun Construction Company, Lalitpur

Second safety officer, joining Maiya Shakya. You will run induction and toolbox talks, inspect scaffolding, and keep the near-miss log honest — reporting one is never held against anyone here.

You will cover the two largest sites first while learning our induction and near-miss process.

What you will do

Deliver safety induction to every worker before their first shift
Run the weekly toolbox talk in Nepali and record signatures
Inspect and tag scaffolding, hoists and lifting gear on a set cycle
Investigate near misses and close findings out in writing
Support the monthly director safety walk and track the actions

Essential

NEBOSH IGC, or a diploma in occupational safety with two years on construction sites
Confident delivering training in Nepali to mixed-literacy crews
Prepared to stop work when a task is unsafe, and to explain why

Desirable

First-aid instructor certification
Experience on occupied-building projects
