Forty-one trade firms we have worked with more than once.

We do not run an open tender for every package. Trades that perform stay on the list and get repeat work; trades that miss dates or fail an inspection twice come off it. The list is reviewed every Baisakh.

Prequalification

  • Firm registration and PAN, or an individual contractor with citizenship on file
  • Two reference sites we can visit unannounced
  • Proof of accident insurance for their own workers
  • Safety induction attended by the crew leader before mobilising
  • Signed rate schedule and a written scope, never a verbal agreement

Payment terms

  • Measurement taken jointly at the end of each month
  • Bill certified within 7 days, paid within 30 days of certification
  • 5% retention released after the defect period on that package
  • No pay-when-paid — we pay whether or not the client's bill has cleared
  • Rate revision considered once a year, in Baisakh
